Well, I went through a movie costume phase, and these were some of the results - I used meshes from All About Style, and the adorable Sussi. There not very experiences - just recolours. Hope you like 'em!

Wow, thanks! Have to say, your costumes are awesome - these were just quick thingies produced with the help of some lovely meshes (and the wonderful
Movie Costumer's guide! I don't know what I'd do without those guys. I have a coupla costumes from musicals I've pieced together too somewhere...

Hey, everyone - my latest attempts at Simming some clothes! I've come on a fair ways since the other two - plus I absolutely adore the musical Elisabeth, so I made a Der Tod and Sissi couple of costumes! Enjoy!

I really like your new cloths, especially the one from "Der Tod".
For Sissis costume I would have used another mesh, perhaps the wide one from pronupsims...
By the way: where did you get those great pictures for creating?

Hey, thanks! I think we all need a little Tod love in our lives... *ogles Uwe Kroger over on Youtube* Can I use the PronupSims stuff? I had a peek at the dress becaus the mesh was pretty darn close, but there was some scary stuff about re-distribtuion, so I left it alone. I did have a go with the divinosims mesh I saw over on AllAboutStyle here: http://www.all-about-style.com/images/victorian/vadufefor/FAcivildrs9_AAS.jpg, but the mesh vaguely looked like her skirts were eating Der Tod alive, so I used this one instead...
Hey, I managed to screencap nice and big using a free downloadable program called Fraps people recommended over on ModTheSims2.[crazy] Worth a look, if you 're interested!

oh I think I didn't quite make sure, what pictures I meant My thought was: where did you get those great reference/ original pictures of the costumes? Or did you paint them yourself?

About pronupsims: I used one of their meshes once and just packed it into the .rar-file as well...I just linked back to pronupsims...they didn't have updates for several years, so I thought it would be legitim to use them relativly free...

Oh right! Sorry - Well, I mentioned to an Austrian friend of mine over on ModTheSims that I was interested in doing a Sissi costume from Elisabeth and he sent me a whole host of amazing goodies by way of paintings/photos of reproductions - even a couple of original photos of Sissi herself! No way could i have found them by myself - I used those as a reference and went from there. I can add the ref. pictures if you'd like!

Wow, thank you for sharing these amazing creations with us! I really like the tod-costume very much, but I agree with Tinuviel, that the Sissi Gown would look better on another mesh.

Hmm, I might have a go with the Pronupsims mesh that Tinuviel recommended. I'm not really happy with this mesh, since it doesn't get across the whole gorgeous poofiness of the actual coronation gown... might have a play in Bodyshop and see how i
t turns out! Thanks for all your advice, guys! This is really helpful...
